Gifted Program:

SHEF has been a strong supporter of the gifted education program, by funding a half-time teacher of the gifted program to serve students in grades K-8. |

Spanish Video Program:

SHEF funds allowed the purchase of a Spanish video program which is used to introduce students to the Spanish language. |

Air-Conditioning:

SHEF provided $25,000 to support Signal Hill School's long-range plan for air-conditioning classrooms in the "old" building. |

Teacher Requests:

SHEF has financially supported various items requested by teachers, including digital cameras, a soccer kickboard, life skills training for Jr. High students, a sound system and lights for the eighth grade play, a portable stage, and more! |

|
Community Projects:

SHEF has funded projects for the Signal Hill community, including a summer library program and a community theater and most recently a Summer Theater Camp for all students entering Kindergarten through Eighth Grade living in the Signal Hill geographic area. |
